My adventures is Mankato.

This past weekend I went to Mankato to babysit my nephew while his parents went out and I had so much fun. My sister, her husband and my nephew Joseph live just on the outskirts of Mankato in a little "community" called Cedar Meadows but its pretty much the country. Well anyways they have a whole crap load of property that is considered common ground down there where the people who live there have turned in into a bunch of 4 wheeling trails. So last weekend I spent all of it outside 4-wheeling with my sister, her husband and my nephew Joseph. It was a great way to start the summer!

Together Everyone Acheives More (TEAM)

To be apart of a team is to work together to acheive greatness. When you are apart of a team you work together to get stuff done and you can rely on each other. You have to be considerate of everyone else and never leave anyone behind.
When you are a part of a team you work with each other learning each others strengths and weaknesses. You support each other and no matter what happens you stay with them.

Breakout kings

So right now I am watching this new TV show called Breakout Kings and this episode is about this criminal that broke out of jail and he only has one hand. He carved it into a shank and used it to escape. Then when he escaped he found a girl with a car he wanted and drugged her then when they were driving down the highway he pushed her out of the car and she rolled down the road. Its pretty bizarre but very addicting and if you watch it you will be hooked. I am addicted and watch it all the time. You should too.

reputation

Reputation means a lot to everyone. Reputation can take a lifetime to build up and seconds to destroy. Your reputation follows you everywhere and that it why it is good to have a reputation your proud of.
When people hear your name they think about your reputation. Some people might not realize how much of an impact it can have on your life until it prevents you from doing something. If you are a very intelligent public figure like a celebrity but you party too much for instance and make a fool out of yourself directors and endorsements will not want you to work for them and you wont be very successful. That is why you need to be very careful when you come across sketchy scenarios. You need to be conscious of your reputation.

stuff to do in school list.

Okay so I was just messing around on the internet the other day and stumbled across this list of things to do in school when you are bored. I laughed so hard when I was reading because I could picture kids actually doing these things. Well I decided to put the list on my blog because they were too funny to waste and I didn't know what else to do with them. Here it goes..

Stuff to do in school when you are bored.

1. pick a word your teacher says a lot and when he says it get up and start making obnixious noises.

2. hold up a huge sign that says check your fly

3.When someone falls asleep during a movie or lecture tie their shoe strings to their desk.

4.Raise your hand and when the teacher calls on you say nevermind. (repeat many times)

5. When the teacher turns around have the whole class make wierd noises then when they turn around act     

          like nothing happened.

7. if your teacher is a girl call her grandma, if it is a boy call him grandma.

8.knock a heavy textbook off your desk..again...and again..... and again!

9. Have everyone in class squint hard at a teacher when they are teaching.

10.Tell your teacher they pronuouce your name wrong no matter how many times they say it.

11. Find a bunch of different ways to pronounce your teachers name wrong.

SPRINGTIME!

I am really really really really excited for spring to be here. I think everybody is. I am so ready for it to be nice and sunny out and I definitely cannot wait to go rollerblading after school. It is one of my favorite things to do in the spring time. Everyday after school me and my friend Sydney go rollerblading and it feels so nice because we haven't been able to do it all winter. I love spring time and I am counting down the days until it's here.

R-E-S-P-E-C-T find out what it means to me.

      We were taught ever since we were little to respect each other. Our parents would tell us to respect our elders every time we talked back. Our teachers taught us the "Golden Rule" treat others the way you want to be treated. All the rules that we were taught in our lives come back to respect.
     Personally I think Aretha Franklin hit it right on the jackpot when it comes to defining respect. Respect is taking other peoples feelings into consideration, being kind to others, and showing admiration towards others. Overall I think the best definition of respect is that respect is building someone up instead of tearing them down. That is what respect means to me.

a tribute to sydney frazier.

sydney frazier is the funniest person in the world. no doubt about it she can always make me laugh to the point where i start to hiccup. i have known her ever since i was in kindergarden so we go way back. we are so tight we share nappy sacs. some of my favorite memories with her are rollerblading together in the spring and watching mean girls and sleepover.i also like making up names for our friends. when i pick her up in the morning on our way to school she is always smiling. she reminds of lennie from of mice and men because she is so innocent and caring. she is my rolemodel. thats all about my friend sydney frazier. oh and sorry for all the uncapitalized words i am blogging on my phone and the capital button doesnt work.

people of walmart and awkward family photos make my day.

       There are two things that no matter how upset I am they will always make me laugh. They are http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/, http://www.awkwardfamilyphotos.com/,. I can easily spend hours on each site and no matter how many times I see a picture on there they still make me laugh.

        I'm sure that there has been a time or two where you have been shopping at walmart and you have saw some strange ducklings. Well some stuff was just so funny that people had to take a picture and this website is a place where all those pictures go.  

       http://www.awkwardfamilyphotos.com/ is another website where people from all over upload picture that are so weird and random that they are awkward. There has got to be millions of pictures there and they all will amaze you at how people think of this.

    Here are some that were appropriate enough for me to put on this blog. But seriously if you have never heard of these websites you should definitely check them out. But you must have a sense of humor in order to enjoy them.



Oh all the blogging.

        It seems like blogging has become more and more common these past years. I admit the first time I heard of someone blogging I imagined a loner sitting in his room at night instead of going out and blogging about crap that nobody reads. But actually there is some funny ones out there that are interesting to read and I am starting to see why people started blogging in the first place.
        I watched this movie called Julie & Julia a couple years ago and the main character starts a blog about her experiences cooking. It was interesting to hear her read them. I think that blogging makes you a better writer because it helps you become quicker at brainstorming good ideas to write about. It also has given me reasons to express my thoughts on many different topics. For example if I had thoughts about friendship or love before I had this blog I wouldn't have done anything about them and now that I have this blog I have someplace that I can go to ramble on about my thoughts. I think blogging is very helpful.

Wilds Game!

     One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is go to Wild games up in the cities. I love hockey and I love going to games. This past Sunday I went to a game and I took my best friend Gretta along with me. It was her first time going to one of them so she didn't know what to expect. I don't think she thought it was going to be so crazy!
     With us cheering on the players, confusing drunk people, and laughing at fights we had a blast. There were so many fights in that game I loved it. One of the fights started because on of the players got mad and started hitting another in the side with his stick. It looked so pathetic we both started bursting out laughing.
     I cannot wait til the next game that I go to because this one was so fun. And it helped that we won!!!!

Love and Valentines Day

     It is that time of the year again... Valentines day. The time of year where couples face the big dilemma of what to get each other.
    Personally this is my least favorite holiday there is if you can even call it a holiday because we don't even get off from school for it which is pretty lame. I don't know something about it just bugs me and  no I'm not a grouch because I don't have a boyfriend honestly I couldn't care less but to me this holiday is still pathetic.
    Is buying someone flowers and chocolate really telling them that you love them or is it just what we do to not look like jerks.
    When you truly are in love with someone you will show them you love them everyday you're together and not just because of a stupid holiday.
        If you think about it Valentines day is really just a marketing holiday anyway.
   
    

My addiction

       Yes, I am an addict. I have a serious problem and I don't know how to stop it. I am addicted to coloring my hair. I am constantly changing it and I have been all sorts of shades from blond to almost black. I've had bangs, a side part and now I rocking the middle part!
      No but this is serious. Right now as I write this I am in the salon getting my hair colored. I am always changing my mind on what I want it to look like. My sister is a hair stylist and does my hair and I can tell she gets annoyed with me when I am there all the time.
      Ha I'm finished now getting my hair done and I can't wait to see how long it lasts this time.

Loneliness

There once was a child lonely as a log
the only friend he had was his family's hog

He'd go into town to play at the park
but since he was lonely he sat in the dark

He knew he'd be lonely all of his life

They soon became friends and told each other jokes
and on special occasions they even shared cokes

The boy soon realized that he didn't have to be lonely
a friend was all he needed the one and only

loneliness is temporary and can be fixed
all that you need is these simple tricks

Friendship is needed
like water to a fish

I heart YIG!!!!

       Okay so last weekend I went to the capital of Minnesota for Youth In Government. We stayed at the Hilton for 4 days and during the day we debated bills but at night was when the real fun began. I honestly got to say that the best dances that you will ever go to is the YIG dance. It gets so crazy. Between getting ready with your friends to laughing so hard you have to pee I will never forget YIG.
      For yig you get up at 6:00 and get ready to go into your committees and houses and you debate bills until about 8:00 with random breaks here and there. Then they have activities for you to do. There is a carnival and a dance. For the whole 4 days that you are there you truly get no sleep and when you have to go back to school on Monday you have what we call a YIG hangover. We are all like a bunch of zombies because we are so sleep deprived. But you know what its worth it and I cant wait till next year. I heart YIG!!!

importance of intelligence

         No matter what you do in life intelligence is the key to success. With the rate our economy is growing today it will be very hard to make a living with little intelligence. Actually the chances are slim to none unless you are godly beautiful where you can just be a movie star or model. But even then you better hope that you don't loose your looks.
         Intelligence is a wonderful thing to have. Without smart people where would we be today. Studying and learning about stuff is the foundation of mankind. Without intelligence great minds like Socrates, Plato, or Aristotle would never have done what they did.
       I think intelligence plays a very important role in our lives. Just think what the world would be like if everyone was stupid. That would suck.

seriously kids do your work.

          I don't know why but one thing that has been getting on my nerves lately is kids not applying themselves in school. Kids practice this almost as if it is a skill of theirs. And everyday at school I get the amazing opportunity to see kids practicing this wonderful skill all day long.
          There are some kids who do not do any work and pay about as much attention as a rock to the teacher and wonder why they are failing. Honestly people we are here now and have to go to school anyways why not do it right the first time so you don't have to do it again. High school is only 4 years of your life. Yes we all have social lives but during these 4 years what you do determines what you will do for the rest of your life. Try to make a list of colleges that will accept a student with a 0.75 G.P.A.
         Now I'm not saying that we all need to be valedictorians, but we need to try harder as a whole to not settle for F's. Because when I think about it I would much rather work hard now and rest later when I get a good job then slack off now and work my ass off for the next 50 years of my life trying to get enough money for food.

work ethic.

        One skill to have in life is work ethic. If you are a failure at many things in life you might want to check and see what kind of work ethic you have. For instance in school you could be really smart but not apply yourself and get bad grades because of that. Or you could be dumb but do all your homework and succeed above your peers. That's what work ethic does.
        Skills of good work ethic are...
        finishing all your stuff
        working good in school and not slacking off
        not doing anything halfway
        completing stuff worthy of good grades
        and many more things.
