Loneliness

There once was a child lonely as a log
the only friend he had was his family's hog

He'd spend his days up in his room
wishing and hoping that friends would come soon

He'd go into town to play at the park
but since he was lonely he sat in the dark

He knew he'd be lonely all of his life
but he hoped and he hoped that he'd find a wife

One day when all  seemed sad
he stumbled upon a girl that made him feel glad

They soon became friends and told each other jokes
and on special occasions they even shared cokes

The boy soon realized that he didn't have to be lonely
a friend was all he needed the one and only

loneliness is temporary and can be fixed
