What is beauty? Is it a person who is in all of the magazines that we buy or is it the sweet little old lady that lives down at the end of your street. What classification does beauty fall under? What is it exactly?

A really cliché thing to say is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But it is true. Many people have different ideas of what is pretty and what is not. That is what makes our world so diverse. In different cultures different things are considered beautiful.

I think that beauty is more than skin deep. What is on the inside counts just as much or maybe even more than what is on the outside in order for me to like it…  Someone can be a really attractive person but they act like a complete jerk or they are really stuck up and don’t give you the time of day, but if a person is nice then people tend to look past what is on the outside.

Looks aren’t everything and that is also true. Like for instance when you get married you don’t want to look for just a cute spouse because if they are truly a horrible person on the inside you are not going to want to be around them at all. You want to look for what’s on the inside.

That is what beauty means to me. Beauty is all around us we just have to look because what’s on the inside counts just as much as what’s on the outside. That is the true meaning or beauty.
